Our Mission

Our mission is not new - it's not even original! Our mission is the mission that Jesus gave to the disciples over 2,000 years ago. We want to help as many people as possible to become more and more like Jesus... to help them fill their lives so full of Jesus and his love that he splashes on to everything they do and everyone they meet.

According to Jesus, the two greatest things are loving God with our whole being and loving our neighbors as we love ourselves. Sundays at CCF are a mixture of practical teaching and passionate worship that helps and inspires us to love God and others more and more.

We were made to do life in community. The early church celebrated together on Sundays, then met during the week in small groups. We believe growth happens best in circles, not in rows. So for us, LifeGroups are a primary catalyst for spiritual growth.

The Apostle Paul wrote that we are "God’s masterpiece... created in Christ Jesus to do good works." We believe serving is a part of the spiritual DNA of every Christian so we work hard to create opportunities for serving in our church and in our community.

Our Beliefs

We have adopted the following Statement of Faith as a statement of our beliefs and the beliefs of our members. The Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith. We believe that the Bible is the sole and final authority on matters of faith and belief

We believe the Bible is inspired the Word of God and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption. (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe in God the Father, creator of heaven and earth, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of man, He hears and answers prayer, and He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-3, 3:16; Romans 6:23, 8:3-4; James 1:17)
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for his people, and personal, visible return to earth. (Matthew 1:18; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:1-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Hebrews 7:25)
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who comes forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide. (John 16:7-11; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22; Galatians 5:16-24; Hebrews 10:15)

We believe all men are sinners by nature and by choice and are, therefore, under condemnation. We believe that salvation is a free gift, given by God’s grace and received by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38, 17:30-31; Romans 3:23, 5:12, 6:23, 8:1; Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe in the universal Church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church, consisting of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith and associated for worship, work and fellowship. We believe God lays upon the members of the local church the primary task of giving the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world. (Matthew 5:13-16, 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-47; 1 Corinthians 1:2; Colossians 1:17-19; Hebrews 10:24-25)
We believe that a Christian should live for the glory of God and the wellbeing of his fellowman, that his conduct should be blameless before the world, that he should be a faithful steward of his possessions and that he should seek to realize for himself and others the full stature of maturity in Christ. (Matthew 5:13-48, 6:1-34, 7:1-29; Luke 10:25-37; Ephesians 4:11-13; Philippians 2:1-16; 1 Thessalonians 5:12-22)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that baptism is commanded for all believers and signifies their identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. At CCF, we practice baptism by immersion. We believe that Christ instituted the Lord’s Supper for the commemoration of His death. We believe that these two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal felicity of the righteous, and the endless suffering of the wicked. (Matthew 24:29-31; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 5:1-11; Revelation 21:1-8)
